Relationship Chart

To find the relationship between 2 people with a common ancestor:
1 On the top horizontal row - find the relationship to the common ancestor of the 1st person. Draw a line downwards.
2 On the left vertical column - find the relationship to the common ancestor of the 2nd person. Draw a line across.
3 Where the lines intersect, that is the relationship.
CH = child. S = sibling (brother or sister). N = nephew or niece.
C = cousin. GR = grand. G = great. GEN = generation. REM = removed
