Nutter's Platt Farmhouse (Drawing from Hutton - Alan Crosby) As it was in the 17th Century up Door Lintel of Nutter's Platt. Best guess is that it was meant to read "William Maudesley built this house AD 1653". Maudesley is also a small hamlet near to Nutter's Platt and fairly common surname.
