There are many more people buried here than are up Preston Open Market (Photo from Preston - John Garlington) About the turn of the century. This is still standing, well used and popular but a plan to pull it down and build a modern (ie bland) shopping centre still hangs over it

Janie Brown of 11 Albert St aged 19 years when buried on 21 June 1923 is in the same grave as 1846 Thomas and 1839 Mary Ann Moulding
